‘round my heart circle in whispers;
make fingers slight,
trailing ‘cross this fragile shell;
and murmur soft,
all the sweetest things to tell,
bury words in lightest silk
and gently ring the bell;
worry not,
I’m not one to make you suffer
pointless delicacies,
and I’m no crystal flower;
but I need caressing,
a huge soul of understanding,
a complex soul of knowing
with simple hands.
